Hey everybody! Here's my stop on the hop! I've been super busy the last few months. I had to take a hiatus to get our house ready to sell, so I haven't been designing much lately. Digi Scraps Drive-In Charity Scrapathon Blog Train!

Hey everyone!

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer awareness month? If not, I'll bet you've noticed an abundance of pink around you. More and more businesses are creating products specially designed to raise awareness and donations for Breast Cancer Research every year. And this year, the designers at Digi Scraps Drive-In have decided to join the crusade. We've not only created a beautiful charity collab kit, but we've built an entire weekend Scrapathon around it!

The Charity Scrapathon runs from Thursday, October 21 to Sunday, October 24. Anyone can scrap along, but to be eligible for the prizes, you need to have purchased Courage, the charity collab kit.

The kit is only $6, which (after Paypal fees) goes entirely to Breast Cancer research. After you purchase this kit, you are eligible to compete in the Scrapathon. Depending on how many challenges you complete, you can earn coupons, a site collab, and a chance to win Jen C Designs or C.W. Picket and Company's entire store! (how awesome is that?)

Hey everyone! Not sure if you heard yet, but I ended up taking 2nd place in the Designer Survivor competition! All the ladies over at Brownie Scraps were so amazing with hosting the challenge. They all worked so hard to make this happen. So I'm sending a huge thank you to them.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who voted for me in Week 5! Without your votes, I wouldn't have gotten immunity and made it to week 6. So thanks for keeping me in!

Can you believe it's been a year since we hosted the Grand Opening at Digi Scraps Drive-In. It took us so long to get it up and running, and this past year has completely flown by! What an amazing year it's been, and what is a birthday without a celebration?? Not much fun, that's for sure! So we've cooked up a month of games, challenges, and of course, party favors!!!

To kick off our month-long Birthday Bash, we are hosting a Progressive Blog Hop Challenge. Here is how it works:

follow our Progressive Blog Hop, picking up each mini along the way.
Create a layout using at least one piece from each mini (more if you wish)
Upload your LO to our Birthday Bash gallery, and link it back to the Progressive Blog Hop Challenge thread.

When you complete this challenge, you will receive a loot bag that coordinates with the blog hop minis.

Fall is in the air! (and I fear winter is closer than it should be) The trees are turning gorgeous colors, the days are shorter, and pumpkins are popping up everywhere. I miss summer, but I really do love fall. I'm happy it's here and have been enjoying almost every minute of it.

Well, it's finally happening! I've been working hard with some great ladies, and I'm happy to announce the Grand Opening of Digi Scraps Drive In!

There's lots of stuff going on for our Grand Opening! It's also the "official" opening of our new store. I'm proud to design along side some very talented ladies. I'm also hosting a speed scrap Friday night at 10pm EST, so don't miss it!!

I've also been doing a little CT business. Here are a couple layouts I've done for Rachel of Steel City Scraps. Her newest kit called Ladybug Picnic is just adorable!

Where in the world have I been???

Well... I'm not sure! I've been on and around, here and there, but now I'm back! I'm back to CT-ing and I'm LOVING it! As for designing, I'm kinda on hold with that right now. I was involved with getting a new site up and running, and there has been a lot going on with the owner, so things haven't moved as smoothly as first expected. So I will eventually be a designer there, but the store isn't quite ready yet.

I've also taken some much needed family time. My daughter just turned 3 and has literally turned my world upside down! Hubby has been working a lot, so the time we get to spend together is precious. The lower level of our tri-level home flooded again this summer, and we're finally getting things back to normal. I still don't have a desk :( but it's coming. We're getting the final paperwork to the insurance company (as I type this, actually) so... it's all coming back together.

I also started back at work after a long layoff. It's good to be back in the swing of things. I hate to see summer come to an end, especially after it took so long to get here, but I'm ready for fall and apples, and pumpkins, and Halloween and Thanksgiving...

So here are some layouts I've done with kits from Christie Lemmon Designs. The first one is Brighter Days, available at Inspiration Lane.

Such Sad News

So as many of you have heard, Digital Candy, as well as the Sweet Tart Shoppe is closing. There is a lot of drama behind the decision of the owners to close the sites, and while I can't say I do or do not support the decision, it's one that deeply saddens me. Digital Candy was my first and only digi scrap home, and I will truly miss everyone from the site.

However! I'm currently involved in a very fun project involving a group of talented ladies (from Digital Candy), to start our own digital scrapping site! I can't give out any secrets right now, but you can be certain, it's going to be a lot of fun! I'll let you know more when I can!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted much here over at my new blog. I've been a busy little bee lately!! Doing what??? Well, you'll just have to wait and see! I'll reveal my secret on or around May 1st. In the mean time, I hope you had a Happy Easter! I also got around to scrapping a couple pages for my CT. Here's one using Crayon Box - it's one of Christie's first kits, and it's been revamped, so it's better than ever!

I also did a layout with Calalily Designs kit Happy Go Lucky.
